曹雪芹被打得最严重的一次
《蒋勋说红楼梦》（170）
一、曹雪芹骨子里是非常反儒家的，他一直相信人与人之间有一个真情，这个情就像黛玉跟宝玉一样，是前世的缘分，不需要在这一世由伦理来建立，宝玉跟黛玉最后并没有成夫妻，可是他们的缘分是最深的。
1. Cao Xueqin was fundamentally anti-Confucian at heart. He always believed in a genuine affection between people, like that between Daiyu and Baoyu—a predestined bond from past lives that doesn't require establishment through ethical norms in this life. Though Baoyu and Daiyu never became husband and wife in the end, their connection was the deepest.
二、《红楼梦》其实一直在对伦理提出质疑，让我们开始怀疑伦理到底是什么？儒家的伦理只是你认为的那个关系，你并不见得真疼他，也不见得有体温给他，并不能让他感觉到你是最贴身的一份关心的力量。
2. "Dream of the Red Chamber" consistently questions ethics, making us wonder what ethics truly are. Confucian ethics merely represent the relationships you perceive; you may not genuinely care for the other person, nor offer them warmth, nor make them feel that you are a deeply intimate source of concern.
三、“袭人满心委屈，只不好十分使出来”李纨可以哭死去的丈夫，王夫人可以哭儿子，贾母可以哭孙子，可是在众人面前，一个丫头根本没有资格和理由哭。
3. "Xiren was filled with grievances but couldn't fully express them." Li Wan could weep for her deceased husband, Lady Wang could weep for her son, and Lady Jia could weep for her grandson—but in front of everyone, a maid had no right or reason to cry.
四、人世间的伦理到最后就不再那么单纯了，尤其是这种大户人家，可能只是因为贾母、王夫人疼宝玉，所以大家才忙得不亦乐乎，结果真心痛宝玉的袭人却满怀委屈地走开了。这种场景是《红楼梦》最迷人的地方，作者要告诉我们真情常常是最孤独的。
4. Human ethics ultimately lose their purity, especially in prominent families like this. Perhaps everyone bustled about eagerly only because Lady Jia and Lady Wang doted on Baoyu, yet Xiren, who genuinely cared for him, walked away full of grievances. Such scenes are where "Dream of the Red Chamber" is most captivating—the author wants to show us that true affection is often the loneliest.
五、我一直觉得曹雪芹真的挨过一次这么严重的打，所以才能写得这么细。
