一、犯错是人之常情，朱元璋去救援安丰在政治和军事上都是错的，但在“义”字这种古代最能说服人心上却是很重要的，因为这种人你才能放心交自己的后背与他一起拼命。
1. To err is human. Zhu Yuanzhang's decision to rescue Anfeng was politically and militarily wrong, but it was crucial in demonstrating "righteousness"—the most persuasive virtue in ancient times that could win people's hearts. Only with such a person could you confidently entrust your back and fight alongside him with all your might.
二、朱元璋刻意去打庐州，坚持要一错再错，刚好陈友谅也故意不先直接进攻南京，而是先去拨掉他忍了很久的洪都，一方面他要树立叛我者死的威慑形象，另一方面守城的朱文正是纯纯的软杮子。
2. Zhu Yuanzhang deliberately attacked Luzhou, persisting in compounding his errors. Coincidentally, Chen Youliang also intentionally avoided directly attacking Nanjing first, instead choosing to eliminate Hongdu, which had long tested his patience. On one hand, he wanted to establish a deterrent image of "death to traitors"; on the other hand, the defending commander Zhu Wenzheng seemed like an easy target.
三、朱文正在大敌当前之下，显示了自己的能力。洪都是一个坚固的城池，但有一个缺点：门太多，共有抚州、宫步、土步、桥步、章江、新城、琉璃、澹台八个门，此外还有水道门。
3. Facing a formidable enemy, Zhu Wenzheng demonstrated his capabilities. Hongdu was a sturdy city with one flaw: too many gates. It had eight gates—Fuzhou, Gongbu, Tubu, Qiaobu, Zhangjiang, Xincheng, Liuli, and Tantal—plus a water gate.
四、多门是大城市繁华的象征，但当这座城市面对六十万大军的时候，这种繁华就变成了噩梦。由于人多，攻城的军队大可以同时攻打各门，防守方却会顾此失彼。
4. Multiple gates were a symbol of a large city's prosperity, but when facing an army of 600,000, this prosperity turned into a nightmare. With their numerical advantage, the attacking forces could assault all gates simultaneously, while the defenders would be stretched thin and unable to cover all fronts.
五、朱文正确实是一个不世出的军事天才，城里可用的兵用来防守实在是捉襟见肘，但他却能调配得井井有条。在安排好防守兵力后，居然还能剩下两千人用来随时支援各门。
5. Zhu Wenzheng was indeed a rare military genius. The available troops in the city were truly insufficient for defense, yet he managed to deploy them in perfect order. After arranging the defensive forces, he surprisingly had two thousand soldiers left to provide immediate support to any gate as needed.
